During my Easter weekend stay, I had a wonderful time at this lodge. The serene countryside location was a highlight, with lush gardens, streams, and ponds to explore. The swimming pool was definitely the best aspect, providing a refreshing break after a long hike. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, offering excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. The breakfast served in a spacious terrace was fresh and satisfying, with a wide variety of options. The fast Wi-Fi kept me connected while still feeling blissfully disconnected from the world.
The lack of dinner options on-site was a bit of a downside. I had to venture out to nearby restaurants to find a decent meal, which was a bit of a hassle after a long day of exploration.

I had the most wonderful stay at a charming lodge nestled in the Costa Rican countryside. The setting was picturesque, with a beautiful garden, a stream, and a pond just outside my room. The swimming pool was stunning and perfect for a refreshing dip. The hosts, Roger and Rosie, were incredibly kind and made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and even came to my rescue when I got lost one night. The breakfasts served in the garden were delicious and the perfect way to start the day. I loved exploring the hiking trails on the property and found them even more enjoyable than those in the nearby national parks. It was also convenient to have access to tours and restaurants in the area. Even without a car, I was able to get around easily with the affordable shuttles provided by the lodge. I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this eco-retreat to anyone visiting Costa Rica.
